Garden Gallery

Many or our newest daylilies are planted in the flower beds while we evaluated them for cold hardiness and peformance.

All children under age 16 are invited to explore our gardens and select a free plant to take home for their garden.

Boys favorites are red (Spiderman, Mallard) or orange (Tuscawilla Tigress or Rocket City).

From mid-June through mid-July the growing field is filled with blooms from more than 1000 varieties of daylilies.

Girls favorites are soft yellows (Atlanta Moonlight) and pink flowers.

Our #1 helper is Gail, takes time to enjoy blooms of some of her favorite daylilies.

Under the shade of a 75 year old pecan visitors can relax and enjoy the shade and Eastern Shore Virginia hospitality.

We have hosted many picnics for the Tidewater Daylily Society. Amoung our favorite visitors are Zack and his dad, Bert Hammond. Jerry Dickerson is on the right.
