Joseph Tomlinson's Daylilies
Joseph was fascinated by the genetics of daylilies and began his breeding program at a young age. He particularly liked spiders and quickly collected plants and knowledge from Katie Sue Herrington, Margo Reed and others. By the time the DELVAL Daylily Society hosted the 2000 National, he was able to show some of his new plants, Lyndell’s First and Lyndell’s Rosado, some UFO’s and spiders. We have sent his plants throughout the USA and received many favorable comments. His plants do well in both warm and cold climates; have strong bud count, clarity of color and excellent garden qualities. Joseph has finished high school and is now a junior at Millersville University in Pennsylvania. His major is biology with an emphasis in botany/plant genetics. We will continue to forward all money that we receive from the sale of his plants to him for his college expenses. Spring 2006 we are pleased to introduce three new plants from Joseph’s work. 2006 Introductions
